Hassan Bencheqroun, MD: Founder of Medical AI Academy
Dr. Hassan Bencheqroun is a triple board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician who founded Medical AI Academy to teach clinicians to evaluate, implement, and govern AI in real clinical care, in their own languages.
Why did a bedside physician start an AI academy?
Most AI courses for doctors come from engineers or consultants. Dr. Bencheqroun built Medical AI Academy from the other side of the bed rail. He still practices pulmonary and critical care, in person and through TeleICU, so every lesson starts with a patient, a decision, and a workflow he has lived.
He trained in Rabat, then in the United States, and teaches in English, Arabic, French, and Spanish. That is why the academy's mission centers on Arab, Muslim, Moroccan, and Middle Eastern clinicians: people who should build and judge AI on their own terms, on their own patients.
